Story gives us a reason to care. Story can transform your audience into the people they long to be. Story teaches us what we need to know and gives us a way to share it with others. Story is our primary adaptation for survival. Story operates as a skeleton key to unlock any door, to engender action in others, and offer our one chance at immortality even after we die. All design starts with story. So does every community, project, romance, and endeavor.
